Evaluation, Conclusion
How would you rate the overall success of your product; in relation to attracting an audience, creative success and authenicity?
I would say my product has worked well in attracting an audience as it's front cover is very eye catching and it stands out on the shelf with other magazines.
Also the designs i have given the front cover and other pages i have done is very unique but yet keeping with the other music magazines in the same genre.

Looking back at your prelimary task what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full
product?
Over the course of doing the prelimary task i feel that i have incresed my skills on photoshop and developed skills on how to use InDesign as i have never used InDesign before but i have touched on Photoshop before briefly in other lessons.
When designing my Front Cover, Contents Page and Double Page Spread i had to base it on other magazines to ensure that it looks right and fits in with the music magazines if it was on the shop shelf with others, i had to be creative whilst makeing them and i wanted them to stand out as well.
My final Front Cover compared to the preliminary task i would say are the same basic idea but i have changed them slightly so that they show improvement.

How did you attract/ adress your audience ?
Jess- I was attracted to the image on the front cover of "Paige" it is very dynamic and shows the style of the magazine well.
Amy- I like the way you have done the title of the magazine on the front cover, i think it stands out from others which caught my attention as i was looking at the selection.
Beka- I found the way you done the cover lines interesting as you used different sized fonts and different colours for different parts of the same cover line, it made your magazine look good as the colours you used went well with the theme of the magazine as some of the extra colours were complementary colours.
They answered the question well as they told me what caught their attention on the front cover which made them pick up my magazine. This is good so i know what is standing out and i can work on the things they didn't say to make them better so my magazine is all around popping out at peoples faces making them want to read my magazine.
In my magazine people would be interested in to read it as it tells you all about the new artist who have just came out from no where and made a huge hit, also it will tell you about the new fashions, what the biggest artists are wearing and where you can buy one like it or the same. This is useful tp the public because people idolise there stars and look up to them and base their lives on these people so they might want to dress like them as well, so we are giving them the information of where and how they can do this.
If i compare my audience to the audience of billboard magazine i would hope that they are the same as i have based my magazine on theres and i hope you can see this, as the title is on the same base lines and so are the cover lines and also the picture. This is useful so that if my magazine is like "Billborads" magazine then my audience should be the same as theres as i have aimed my target audience at there actual audience.
